So as those who know me well enough probably remember my obsession with Christmas, Santa, Christmas presents and everything that goes along with it.

This year, I have taken the decision to build a list of things I want from Santa ‘also known as ‘Flyberysport’! But instead of a rushed list of things I think I might want at one point, or a list of items that I might use at one point, I decided to pick a few items that will directly help me reach a few goals that I have set myself.

 

So I am planning on going on my first skiing holiday ever! My parents were never big skiers and I just never ended up joining any of my friends skiing. But this year, I am determined to learn! I know I will probably spend most of my time on the kids slopes trying to avoid face planting into snow, but it is a challenge I am so excited to take. What better way to kick start a wine fuelled ski filled holiday than to be armed with a North Face Descendit Snow Jacket.

I have always been self-conscious of my hips, yes fine, I have big hips and they bother me. Most of my clothes choices are based on how to minimise the damage, or how do I make them look less obvious. But this year I decided that I am going to try and embrace them! As much as I absolutely love jump suites, I have always avoided them with the worry that they would just accentuate my hips. I am going to just love my body, accept its bumps and lumps and wear something kick ass like the motion lux knockout print unitard.

Having moved into what I could only describe as my dream home, one of the most annoying things about it is that it has increased my journey to work by another half an hour making my commute around 50 minutes to work. I have taken it as a challenge to walk to work every morning. A 50 minute walk on cold winter mornings is quite a challenge, and let’s face, no better way to get my feet walking than arming them with kickass MND Adidas sneakers. And finally my last decision is to try and find more comfortable clothes that are more stylish, heals have taught me over the years that looking great will eventually lead to pain, and after every night out I usually am dying to take my heals off. But I have made an active decision to not worry about that, and to actively try and find clothes that make me feel equally stylish and comfortable. Sweaty betty have launched such an incredible line of lifestyle pieces, but have also kicked ass in their knitwear game.
